Sun King Home 600 — Solar Home Generator System
Overview
The Sun King Home 600 is a robust, plug-and-play solar home system designed to deliver dependable lighting, phone charging, and TV power for homes in off-grid or unreliable-grid environments. It is part of Sun King’s EasyBuy (pay-as-you-go) line — making it accessible and flexible for households with limited upfront capital.

主要特点
Lighting
Includes 2 high-brightness tube lights (~400 lumens each) and 2 hanging lamps (~200 lumens each).
A motion-sensing security lamp (100 lumens) adds safety and convenience.
Total combined light output is around 1,300 lumens.
Battery & Runtime
Uses an 11.1 V, 140 Wh lithium-NMC battery, with a daily usable discharge limited to roughly 120 Wh for longevity.
On full load (all lamps in “Turbo” / high setting), it can run for up to ~12 hours.
With lighter use or partial load, or when powering a TV, the runtime varies — for example, ~10 hours when powering a TV plus lights in some modes.
The battery management strategy is optimized to prolong battery life: Sun King limits the software-controlled daily discharge to preserve capacity for cloudy days and extend battery cycle life.
Expected cycle life is around 2,500 daily-limited cycles, which roughly equates to 7 years of maintenance-free performance under typical usage.
太阳能板
Comes with a 60 W monocrystalline solar panel (18 V) for charging.
Includes a 6-meter solar cable to allow optimal placement of the panel.
Power & Ports
4 × 12 V (+/– 3V) output ports: one of these is specially designed to power a TV.
2 USB ports for charging phones: one “fast” USB (5V / 2.1A) and one “normal” (5V / 600 mA)
Digital LED display for battery level and charging status.
TV Integration
The system supports a Sun King HD LED TV (19″, 24″, or 32″), which can run on its outputs.
The TV is designed to work only with the Home 600 when the PAYG code is valid; once fully paid / activated, it can be used on any 12V source.
The TV has USB (for MP4/MP3) and HDMI input, plus free-to-air digital TV tuners.
Durability & Build
The main control / battery unit is built in rugged ABS plastic, designed for indoor use.
Protective measures: best kept dry; if exposed to water, unit should be thoroughly dried before use.
PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go) Option
The Home 600 supports EasyBuy, Sun King’s PAYG model: customers pay a deposit, then periodic payments, activating the system via SMS code.
Once fully paid, the system is permanently unlocked.
Warranty
Comes with a 24-month (2-year) warranty on the main unit.
Expected battery lifespan / usability is about 5 years or more, depending on usage.

Performance & Use Cases
Lighting for Homes: Ideal for illuminating multiple rooms or shared spaces (living rooms, parlors, bedrooms) with bright tube lights + hanging lamps.
Entertainment: Because of its TV integration, it’s a great choice for households that want solar-powered television viewing in the evenings.
Phone Charging: The USB ports allow for reliable charging of mobile phones (smartphones or feature phones).
Security: The motion-sensing lamp adds a safety dimension to the system — helpful for entrances, hallways, or corridors.
Energy Management: The smart battery management helps preserve energy, making it more resilient in cloudy weather and extending battery life.
—
Benefits
1. Accessible Financing: EasyBuy / PAYG means lower barriers to entry, especially for lower-income households.
2. All-in-One Kit: It’s not just a lighting system — includes TV compatibility, lamps, panel — reducing the need for separate purchases.
3. Long-Term Durability: With regulated discharge and a high-cycle battery, the system is built for longevity.
4. Clean & Quiet Power: Offers a clean alternative to kerosene lamps, petrol/diesel generators, or noisy inverters.
5. Flexible Installation: The panel cable length allows for flexible placement; the design is suitable for typical household rooftops or walls.
—
Considerations / Limitations
The 12 V power ports minimum voltage can drop (to around 9 V), which may limit compatibility with some appliances.
Indoor Use Only: The main unit isn’t designed for outdoor exposure — must be kept dry.
Battery Not Easily Replaceable: As with many compact solar home systems, the battery is not designed for simple user replacement.
PAYG Dependency: If buying via EasyBuy, usage depends on consistent payment until fully unlocked.
—
Summary
The Sun King Home 600 is a powerful and well-rounded solar home system — combining reliable lighting, phone charging, and TV functionality in one package. Its EasyBuy/PAYG mode makes it financially accessible, while its battery management and rugged design ensure long-term use. It’s particularly well-suited for off-grid households or areas with unreliable electricity, offering both convenience and a sustainable energy solution.
