A solar-powered outdoor security camera is a strong value add for off-grid and unreliable-grid environments in Nigeria, aligning with your advocacy for solar access and safe solar practices. As YAKUBU YUNUSA, I would recommend this type of solution — but highlight to customers that the success of the system depends on proper sizing, installation, connectivity and after-sales support.
When you present it on your platform (SolarBuy) or include it as an accessory for your solar‐install jobs via Herolinks Globaltech, I’d suggest:
Include a buyer checklist: panel wattage, battery size, connectivity type, weather rating, storage method, brand support.
Offer installation guide & package pricing: e.g., “solar camera + 20 W panel + mounting bracket + SD card” as a mini-kit.
Provide case studies from Nigerian environments: show how it performs in Lagos/Ikeja, rural Ogun State etc.
Compare between models: WiFi only vs 4G, fixed vs PTZ, low battery vs high capacity etc.
